Download your customized extension package directly from your dashboard. The archive contains the ready-to-run extension pre-configured for your account.

Extract / Unzip the Folder

Chrome cannot load zipped files directly. You must extract the .zip file to a normal folder on your computer.

Windows: Right-click leadpilot-vx.x.x.zip and select 'Extract All...'

macOS: Double-click leadpilot-vx.x.x.zip to extract

Keep the unzipped folder in a permanent location (e.g. Downloads/leadpilot-extension or Documents)

Do not delete or move this folder after installing, as Chrome runs the files directly from it.

Open Extensions & Enable Developer Mode

Navigate to the Extensions management page in your browser and turn on Developer Mode.

Type chrome://extensions in your address bar and press Enter

Locate the 'Developer mode' toggle switch in the top-right corner

Turn the toggle ON (it will turn blue/green)

Click 'Load Unpacked' & Select Folder

Load the extracted LeadPilot folder into your browser.

Click the 'Load unpacked' button in the top-left menu bar

In the file picker, select the unzipped leadpilot-vx.x.x folder (containing manifest.json)

Click 'Select Folder' or 'Open'

LeadPilot will immediately appear in your installed extensions list!

I get an error saying 'Manifest file is missing or unreadable'?

This happens if you select the outer zip file or the wrong parent folder. Make sure you fully extracted the .zip archive and selected the folder that directly contains the 'manifest.json' file.

Does LeadPilot work on Brave, Edge, Opera, and Arc?

Yes! LeadPilot runs seamlessly on all Chromium-based browsers including Google Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Vivaldi, and Arc Browser. The installation process is identical on all of them.

How do I update LeadPilot when a new version is released?

Simply download the new version from your dashboard, extract the new files into your existing LeadPilot folder (replacing older files), then go to chrome://extensions and click the small circular Refresh icon on the LeadPilot card.

Can I move or delete the folder after installing?

No. When loading an unpacked extension, Chrome reads the scripts and assets directly from your local folder. If you move or delete the folder, the extension will stop working. We recommend saving it in Documents/LeadPilot.

How do I find my licence key?

Log in to your LeadPilot dashboard and go to the Licences tab. Click the copy icon next to your licence key (starts with LP-) and paste it into the extension activation box.
